We are very happy to welcome Hannah Hebsacker from Hamburg as our guest student for the coming two weeks. She has been in JIGS before and will now first participate in our summer camp but then stay even a bit longer. Welcome back! 🙂
Here is a short interview we conducted with her upon arrival:
- How old are you?
13 years old.
- When did you start to play go?
I first learned the rules of Go when I was just 3 years old. When I was 6, I started to play proper games on 19×19 board, but usually only in pair-Go with my father. I think when I was 8 years old I “really” started to play Go.
- How strong are you now?
- Why did you decide to come to JIGS?
I have fun playing go and hope to also learn something.
- How long you will stay at jigs?
Two weeks! 🙂
- What is your aim after you studied in jigs?
To reach the strength to play German Pair Go Championship with my father.
- Who has been teaching you so far?
My father Tobias Berben 3d (@home), Yoon Young Sun 8p (Hebsacker Seminar), Manja Marz 3d, Kim Young Sam 8d (I have been at JIGS before), my opponents at many Tournaments (42 so far)
- what is Go for you?
- Who learned you to play go?
Roland Illig 3k
- Do you want to tell us something else?
I am very happy to come back to JIGS in this summer holiday!
