JIGS – China exchange match, first game tomorrow morning at 10am CEST!

We are very happy to announce a special exchange tournament we will be having in the next few week:

Jena International Go School will compete with a selection of Chinese Go kids. They range from 8-19 years old and are between 6k and 2d (European rating). The first game will be played between Hannah Hebsacker (6k, Chinese 3k) and Yan Haoyu (Chinese 1k).

The winner plays against the next stronger player of the opponent team. You may think you know the system, but you don’t! This tournament includes reincarnation! 😀 Each team can decide one time that a player who lost can be reborn. You can view the whole line-up of the teams on the picture below.

The games will take place each Saturday and Sunday, at 10am on KGS. You can follow them there live! The first game will be already tomorrow morning 🙂
